Two new bags

The quilting has slowed way down around here. I have turned a bit more to making bags because it's nice to actually get a project done. My sewing time is so scarce lately.

After finishing my first 241 Tote a month ago, a friend asked me to make one for her upcoming trip to the Caribbean. She wanted something bright and fun for the trip. This is what we came up with. She tells me she loves it, and that makes me happy!

Next up is yet another Sew Together Bag. This is the year for them. I don't think I'll make another one after this year is over though. This one was a birthday present for my SIL. It makes me think of the photos from their wedding--black & white with yellow accents. I hope she finds a good use for it!

  1. I would pay someone, anyone to make a sew together bag for me!! Not a zipper person.

  2. I LOVE my bag!!! It is proving to be so useful! Thank you, thank you, Kati!

  3. Those are both great bags/purses. The last one looks very interesting with all those zippers. I don't think I would attempt that pattern, but I love purses/bags that have zippers in them. Your friends and SIL should love them.
