These two bags were Mother's Day gifts for our moms. I think they both liked them!
I have two more bags to share tomorrow. Then I'm about done with these for a while. I admit I'm sick of them. Five is a few too many. I love how they turn out, but they do take a lot of time.
Edit: The Sew Together Bag can be found in the Sew Demented Shop.
These sure have turned out cute. You've convinced me to try one.
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely, think I might make one for a friend. How long's a long time? I don't want to end up rushing :)
ReplyDeleteI love the pink and yellow one! I'm sure your moms will love them both though :-)
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous! I want one so badly...
ReplyDeleteThey look a lot of work...but it's absolutely beautiful!!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to make one, but they look like so much work! Can you direct me to the pattern? I tried searching on line, but seems like the links have disappeared. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAndrea, the pattern isn't available on Craftsy anymore, but can be found here:

Wow! They are ridiculously beautiful! They do look like a lot of work, but I think I might still have to have a go at one!
ReplyDeleteLove your Sew Together Bags. What did you use for the interfacing. I am using Pellon 809 and finding it a little thick when adding the binding on the side pieces. I think this would be an amazing bag with the right combination on interfacing and fabrics.
ReplyDeleteYour bags are adorable, love them! I am almost finished with my first one, just need to put in the 18" zipper. It is a bit time consuming but I love how it is turning out.
ReplyDeleteFlea Market Fancy is one of my all time favourite fabric ranges, these are so pretty. I especially love the yellow one.
ReplyDeleteSo beautifully stitched. Very professional result on all those fiddly pieces!
ReplyDeleteThose look wonderful! So beautiful. They also look like they take a little time to do too. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for you to have mastered these Sew Together Bags. Not only does one take time to make, but I think it's a difficult pattern to follow. Yours turned out beautifully!
