A New Pellon Project

I have a new project up on the Pellon Projects site! A project highlight is also on the Pellon blog. This is a make-up brush case I created for traveling. In the past I've always thrown my brushes in a make-up bag, and they seem to end up dirty and smashed together by the end of the trip. This is a simple project that comes together so quickly.

This pouch is lined with fusible vinyl and has stitched flaps to fold over the brushes, keeping them separated and much cleaner. I'm excited to use it for a few family trips we have planned this summer.

  1. And how pretty for keeping them organized at your own counter, too! My daughter's are a jumbled mess that drive me crazy. I need to have her pick some fabric out to sew up one of these for her. Thanks for sharing the tutorial.

  3. I love it! With a few small modifications it would also make a perfect case for double-pointed knitting needles (which I have a ton of, and the the case I slapped together when I didn't really know what I was doing isn't holding up well).
