I've been making some changes around the blog--getting it more organized and creating a new header that features some of my favorite work. I'm beginning the process of turning this blogging project into a little business which will include a trip to Quilt Market next month! I've also decided to begin taking on sponsors for a few reasons. I see this as a great partnership and plan to focus on sponsors that compliment my sewing style and carry fabrics I love.
I want to introduce you to my newest official sponsor--Marmalade Fabrics. When I thought about shops I'd like on my sidebar, Tammy's was one of the first I thought of. She has a great selection of print collections as well as one of the best selections of Kona cottons and Essex linen. She is great to work with and has quickly responded to my questions whenever I email her about fabrics. I love ordering from smaller shops run by the owners. It's so nice to get to know the person on the other end rather than dealing with "customer service" when you have an issue. Tammy also has a points program. You receive $10 back in points for every $100 you spend.
Marmalade Fabrics has the new Bella collection by Lotta Jansdotter which I really love right now--especially that weave fabric in blue and orange.
Marmalade Fabrics is an official sponsor of Quilt Con (still feeling a bit sorry for myself that I'm not going). She has a great stack of the Quilt Con colors in her shop. I've been wanting to sew something with a stack like this. These are some of my favorite colors together.
She also carries FQ's and half-yards stacks of new Kona colors. I love these new colors, especially Kona's new neutrals--Iron, Steel, Oyster, Putty, and Parchment,
Finally, Tammy carries these adorable earrings-- check out her Marmalade Baubles section.
