Fat Quarterly Issue 10 was released the other day. I'm excited that it includes my first official pattern. I put this little quilt together during the Fat Quarterly Quick Curves Ruler challenge, and they asked to include it this month. As always there are lots of fun patterns in this issue!
I made this quilt months ago and finally get to share it. It uses (42) 10" squares and finishes about 52" x 54". We call it the Jelly Bean quilt, but since this issue is all about London and the UK, it's official name for the issue is Jewels. I used a 10-inch stack from the Pick A Bunch fabric line by Nancy Mims for Robert Kaufman.

I've been very impressed with this ruler. I haven't tried it yet, but Jenny's patterns look really impressive. I'd love to make an Urban Abacus, or one of the other ones.

Congratulations on being published! The quilt is super cute, the solids you've mixed in are just perfect. And I love that you weren't afraid to make blocks out of similar scale prints and have some of them recede more.
