I have two newly finished quilts to share soon. Both were completely from my stash again! I love that. The husband took the kiddos to the park and errands on Saturday morning from 9:30 - 1:00. I almost finished quilting both quilts while they were gone. Then I finished the quilting and put on bindings after the kiddos when to bed. It was amazing. Two quilts quilted and bound in one day (they were both already basted). That's a record for me. Still working on pictures and posts for those, but in the meantime I wanted to share a couple bee blocks I mailed off today.
I love my quilt bees. I get to make some fun, new blocks for friends. Here are a couple blocks for March.
First for Elizabeth from Don't Call Me Betsy for the Sew Beautiful Bee. She designed three different block patterns for us to use. She sent voile which was a bit slippery, but so nice and soft. It will make a wonderful quilt.
Second is a block for Amy from During Quiet Time for our Stash Trad Bee. She used a traditional block and posted a tutorial here. For the background we used natural Essex Linen, which I now love.
