I've made a lot of bags recently for Christmas presents. First up is the Jane Market Bag:
For some reason when pulling/purchasing fabrics for these I was certain that I could make the exterior with fat quarters. You can't. I started cutting the first bag and realized I didn't have enough fabric. I altered the pattern on the first three bags and adjusted the size of the side pieces to make them fat quarter friendly since I didn't want to buy more fabric. It ended up working out just fine.

Wow they are beautiful! Love the fabric choices!
Hi Kati! Wonderful bags! Your fabrics are beautiful as always but also your pattern is really good! I love how you have used other fabric on the sides and the straps! x Teje

Very nice! The 3rd one is my favorite.
Cute bags Kati!! Looks like you've been quite busy!! I never quite got to the bags I was going to make this year. You've inspired me to try to squeeze in at least one, I think it's way more fun that shopping-Ha!!
Those bags are adorable! I think I need to get that pattern, it looks like just the perfect sized bag. Great to hear about the easy alterations to make them FQ friendly!

Lovely bags!! It turns out we are driving through Utah after all to pick up Peter so we will be there the night of the 18th and morning of the 19th. If it works out, I would LOVE to see you all on the 19th!
