WIP Wednesday 9.21.11

I have multiple things on the stack this week, but it doesn't look a whole lot different from last week.

Two fun new items arrived yesterday.  I ordered these fabrics from Brenda over at Pink Castle Fabrics

I've wanted to try a border print skirt for a while.  When I saw this Lecien print in her shop, I knew it would be perfect.  It will be a great fall skirt and matches my favorite orange cardigan.

The Folksy Flannel print is for a new pair of pajama pants for me.  It's starting to get cold around here at night.   This fabric is currently in the dryer.  If I hurry, I might have a new pair of pajamas tonight.  That is if I can find my pattern around here.

Also, I ordered a new batch of my blog cards last week.  They came on Monday.  I'm all set for Sewing Summit.  I'm tossing around the idea of creating a handmade name tag, but can't decide how I might design it.  I have just two more weeks.

  10. Your cards turned out so awesome! I hope you'll let me have one for keeps at the Summit? I ordered mini moo cards and they're adorable, but not nearly as put together looking as yours!

  12. Love the cards! As for name tags... I sort of just wung (is that a word?) it. I started with my avatar printed on fabric, and then cut that out and started sewing it together with other bits of fabric... (I'll show it for the final Mini-Quilt Monday)

  13. LOVE your Moos! Such a darling pic on the back! Also, I'm relieved to see you didn't put a phone # on yours, as I've been trying to decide if I regret making that same decision a few weeks ago. I've given out a couple this week to new friends, and had to write my # on them, thinking, grrr annoying, but I guess I wasn't comfy w/ my # floating around everywhere, to Etsy customers and the like perhaps. Anyway, love getting to know you a bit via your blog and can't wait to meet you next week @ SS! :)
