Pinterest Love

I've joined the crowd.  I am quickly becoming addicted to Pinterest.  It took me a while to join because I really didn't get why it was different.  I just thought it was another Flickr.  Pinterest is such a fabulous concept. It's like having a collection of bulletin boards on the computer to pin anything your interested in.  I have boards for sewing, quilting, cooking, projects, the house, etc.  I no longer star anything in Google Reader.  I just add it to a Pinterest board.

Here are some fun new pins for the week.

  1. So, what is Pinterest? I don't get it. I'm, like you said, not sure there is a difference in Pinterest and Flickr. What is it all about?

  2. I have been on pinterest for most of this year. I don't have very many pins (13). I guess I don't find it that exciting. Have fun with yours.

  4. I love Pinterest - no more long lists of bookmarks in my browser. Now I can see a photo with the tutorial, or just pin a photo of a quilt I love etc. I'm following you now, Kati! :)

  5. Definite Pinterest-lover over here, too. One thing I really like about it is that for some reason, I seem to make many more of the things that I pin than when I just starred or bookmarked them. Is that silly?

  6. OH I love pinterest! :) I'm following your boards now. :) Beware, it's pretty addictive! I like to make specific pin boards to gather ideas/fabrics etc for an upcomming quilt. Then all my ideas are right there! :)
