I think I've developed a bit of an obsession with these little elephants. Miss C was quite sad when she found out my first one wasn't destined for her, so of course I had to make one for her. The pink one is hers, and she is thrilled with it. It even came to the zoo with us yesterday. I again used the elephant pin cushion pattern from Heather Bailey. I enlarged the pattern to 140% to make the two larger ones. The large blue one was my first official order. It will be in the mail soon. The little green guy with brown ears is headed to a friend. I'm officially sick of the pattern now. No more elephants, although they are so dang cute.
Amy suggested I add in a picture to give a bit of perspective on the size of these guys.

ReplyDeleteGreetings from NZ. Love pachyderms! They are gorgeous. Made turtles for my nieces and nephews last Christmas and I was seriously thinking of making elephants this year. Now that I've seen yours, its definite. Is this your own pattern?
ReplyDeleteThe pattern I used is the elephant pin cushion pattern from Heather Bailey:
