Bee Block #1

Here is my first block of the year for the Sew Beautiful Bee for Cherie.  I don't know that I'll make a whole quilt out of Dresdens like Megan now is, but I'm not hating applique as much.  I think one of things I dislike about applique is the stiffness that results and the frayed edges that are almost impossible to avoid.  The beauty of Dresdens is that neither of these happen.

The fabulous ladies in my Bee are doing some really fun stuff with their practice blocks for this month.  You need to check out Lee's blog and see her amazing Dresden pillow.  I love it!

  3. I like seeing the different combinations of color that everyone received in their package from Cherie. I'm going to love seeing everyone's blocks each month as the year moves forward.
